Service Description

Women's Yin Yoga & Mindfulness This class is suitable for all levels of students and is a perfect compliment to the other dynamic (yang) styles of yoga or other exercise.  Yin yoga is a static meditative, floor-based practice, gently targeting fascia, ligament and tendons (yin) tissue, those layers on the inside.  The postures are held for time (usually 2-5 minutes) with the use of yoga props to support any body in any pose, create space, balance and energy as the joints release to their full range of motion. Yin yoga postures improve the flow of ‘life force’ or ‘chi’ through the meridian channels of the entire body. The class explores various breathing techniques and provides an overall deep state of meditation. This practice calms and balances the mind, reduces stress and anxiety and encourages you to develop a more introspective practice.  Suitable for beginners, pre natal may require modifications. Please bring your own mat if you have one, although we have some for loan. We kindly ask that mats be cleaned before and after class with our antibacterial wipes. Additionally we request you bring a full length towel or covering to classes to cover soft prop such as a bolster.

Cancellation Policy

Classes & Workshops In the event that you are unable to attend the class or workshop, we do require a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations. In such case a credit note will be held on your account. Late cancellations & no shows incur full fee. Fully booked/sold out classes/workshops will only be credited if the place can be transferred to another student.
